Gears Sports wants to give a shout out to the University of Utah Golf Team for picking up the win at the Colorado Invitational! Congratulations to Kyler Dunkle for being the Individual Champion. The Gears team had the lucky fortune to host an event and do captures with all of these guys and work with Coach Garrett Clegg to improve the team. Overall there were tons of nice areas to compliment and a few to dissect.
The lowest ball speed on the entire team with a driver was 168. It’s crazy how long these guys are hitting. Kyler Dunkle has led the nation in birdies the last 2 years. Definitely a special player that has all the tools. All of the players are young, humble and eager to learn! It’s especially worth noting that there are no seniors on this team. They’ve got a great future ahead of them. Congrats again!
